The ‘One sentence about your work’ challenge

I had to write one sentence about my work for the forthcoming BLINK exhibition Room Share 4, Safehouse 1, Peckham, SE15 3SN 16-17 September 2023.

Always a challenge to write only one, but I like how it turned out. It is a long one, but think I can just about get away with it:

‘Paintings on aluminium cooking foil, reflecting my belief in the richness of fluid, multidimensional thinking and ways of living which embrace the complexity of mind, body, brain, and soul working holistically together, in the face of a world dominated by corporations who would prefer us each to be passive, obedient units of revenue, disconnected from the intelligence and compassion of our inner nature.’
